We Are Looking For New Home...
Can you help the hundreds of rottweilers in welfare log onto
The Little part we play in helping abandoned & unwanted Rottweiler......
Every now & then we are called upon by either ZRR or others to help with a rescue of course we are always prepared to help if we can.We also carry out home checks for ZRR, Also If we can we help on transporting dogs to and from The rescue's sometimes its a long journey too much for one person, so if we can we help along the way
Here's some of those we have helped.........
Paddy
Paddy was an 18 month old male bred by Margret Rowarth
(Darkarmar) His owners for all they loved him couldn't physically keep him due to personal reasons, Margaret had no transport to go collect Paddy , and the family couldn't deliver him, So we went to Oxford to collect this boy on Margarets behalf, Paddy is now safe & Happy in a new loving home.
Shorty now known as Chesney
Chesney was a very lucky pup Jon from Zepthedep Rottweiler Rescue (ZRR)
Rang me as he had spotted this pup for sale on ebay, after coming to an arrangement with the seller he asked if I could go fetch him as he was nearer me than John, the little lad stayed with us a couple of nughts before Jon & Mags could collect him, Then he stayed with Jon & Mags until he was ready for his new home, He is now settled and very much loved.
Bess
A Friend at work told me about Bess's plight, she was no longer wanted as the woman's son who she belonged to had moved out to live with his girlfriend, I was sent the picture of her on the settee (left) I rang Jon at ZRR , And told him about this girl, He asked if I could get her to mine, When I went to pick Bess up I was faced with a different picture, she was chained to a kennel outside, she was smelly dirty and underweight , she stayed at mine for about 9 day's , and although I did groom her and bath her,I didn't want to do too much as it would have stessed her out.
Jon rang and said he had a home for her . So I took bess to meet Bruce and his family, and I knew stariaght away that she had chosen them, And as you can see from the photo's below, she is very much loved and looking rather stunning
Marvin
Little Marvin Where do I start .....
Marvin named so by our vets, as he was sooo hungry when they had him,
(Starvin Marvin )He spent a week at the vets recouperating.
I had a call from my vet saying that this pup had been found and handed in to them, It turned out the owners did eventually come forward but didn't want him anyway :(
Again I rang Jon (My Hero) Who said if I could fetch the pup he would collect him from me, I went to the vets to pick him up , Everyone at the vets had become soo attached to him, He came home with me for 4 days, Then I had a dog show in Derby near to Jon, So he met me there and took Marvin home with him, He stayed with Jon Until he was ready to go to his new Home.
I would also like to remember another boy we helped, We have no name for him, Our post lady knocked our door one morning, and said there was a rottie loose in the garden opposite when I got there this dog was near collapse, we got him to our house where I gave him a drink. his pads were sore, and he was very thin , I put him in a cage for rest he ate chicken that night with some rice, and drank glucose water and goats milk, The next day I went into him and he was like a spring chicken, I loosed him out his crate , he ran around the garden played with a ball, He was very thin , But I had hopes for him now, I rang Jon, he said he had a kennel space for him, But the vet would have to see him before he could be rehomed,I took this boy to stoke to the kennels, Jon rang a couple of days later to say the vet had ran blood tests ,and found a tumour , They put the boy to sleep so he didn't suffer anymore, Rest In Peace big fellow run free at the bridge :(
